Born and raised in Springfield, Missouri, I’ve spent most of my life here, aside from attending college in Columbia, MO, where I earned a degree in Criminal Justice. My adult children and I are all graduates of Kickapoo High School, and I also have a child currently attending elementary school in the area. In my limited spare time, I’m a sports fanatic, enjoy planning adventures with my kids, love being on the water and fishing, and stay busy chasing around my English Mastiff.
While in college, I began working as a leasing agent at a 396-unit apartment complex and was promoted to Property Manager at just 20 years old. Although my degree is in Criminal Justice, I chose to continue building my career in property management until 2006. During that time, I managed apartment communities, student housing, single-family homes, and was involved in commercial leasing and build-outs.
I first obtained my real estate license in 2007 and worked both part-time and full-time in real estate until 2019. For the past seven years, I’ve been working full-time in home loans with Home Mortgage Group (NMLS #2639969), and now I’m excited to be back doing both! Whether you need help securing a home loan, finding your dream home, or investing in property, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
If you’ve never considered the advantages of working with a realtor who is also actively involved in lending, here are just a few benefits:
- I understand the ins and outs of loan qualifications and can quickly assess what types of financing you—and the home you’re interested in—may qualify for, even when listings may suggest otherwise.
- I don’t issue basic pre-approvals or pre-qualifications. My clients receive fully underwritten approval letters, giving you a stronger, more competitive offer and peace of mind throughout the process.
- Need to include closing costs in your offer? I provide accurate estimates by gathering insurance quotes, title fees, and all associated costs upfront—so there are no surprises at closing. And no surprises to how much money you will need to bring to closing.
- With constant communication between your realtor and lender (both of which could be me), you’ll experience faster answers, less stress, and a smoother transaction from start to finish.
Give me a call if you have questions about any step of the home buying process! And don’t worry, if you have lending already lined up with your preferred lender, I work well with loan officers too – it’s just another service I offer, if you need it.
